  • 1. GTO Alley is looking for a 1971 GTO, red hardtop. Purchased in Colorado in 1995. Sold in San Antonio, Texas in 1997. VIN# 242371Z118260, Automatic, 400 Engine (YS code), console, sandalwood interior, power steering and drum brakes. It had American Racing five spoke wheels and headers added.
    2. Joe purchased his 1971 GT-37, new in Charlotte, North Carolina, VIN # 233371A157499. He sold it in North Carolina sometime in 75 or 76. If any one runs accross it, he sure would love to have it back, any condition!
    3. Jeff was wondering if his first car is still out on the road. He purchased it in 1979, a 1971 Cardinal Red/Ivory, 455 H.O., M22, 12 bolt 3:55, Ram Air GTO. It was a numbers matching, big sway bar, Disc brake car with no A/C. It had Judge strips on it but it was not a Judge. He verified this on the build sheet. He sold the car in Houston, Texas in 1984 and heard that the motor might have been pulled in the late 80s. He has some pictures and VIN to come. Any info would be great. Thanks Jeff.
